UPDATE#2 :

In spite of the limited means available, Franco fixed the amplifier. He found a transformer completely uprooted from its place due to the strong turbolonces during his fly to Togo.

Here are some pictures.

UPDATE#1:

We’ve just received a message from Franco I1FQH. Due to a strong turbolence occurred during the fly to Togo, part of 5V7V equipment has been damaged. In these hours Franco is trying to repair them, even though with limited tools. We hope that in the next few hours he’ll be able to start 5V7V operations.

Franco Prete I1FQH, will operate as 5V7V from Kapline Village – Togo – between Feb. 5 and 17, 2012. The DXpedition will be active from 6 to 160 m, WARC included.
