This Mediterranean islands Trophy, sponsored by the Mediterraneo DX Club (MDXC), is open for all OMs and SWLs.

The aim is to work/active the biggest number of Mediterranean islands whose list is published in the MDXC Web Site. This trophy is completely free.

 

PARTECIPATION PERIOD

From 1^st June to September 30^th 2005

BANDS AND WAYS

Any QSO/SWL in any HF and WARC band in SSB, CW and RTTY ways are valid.

SCORING

Each QSO with a Mediterranean island counts one point. The duplicate QSOs with the same island are not valid although they are made in different bands.

 

CATEGORY AND PRICES

A - European monoperator

B - Non European monoperator

C - SWL (EU and non EU)

D - Activators: the prize will be for the one who demonstrates to have made the higher number of activations, individual or as team member.

The activator will also be able to participate in categories A or B  and to send at participate the same time the participation log in the activations.

The first classified of each category will receive a plaque and for the seconds and thirds there will be a diploma.

The rewards will be disclosed during the MDXC annual meeting and will be sent later to non present winners.

 

LOG EXTRACT

A list of all the QSO/SWL with the call sign, day, GMT, band, mode and MIA reference will be sent to MIA TROPHY MANAGER, IT9DAA it9daa(@)mdxc.org , best via e-mail, as attach Text or Adif format, or mail address (QRZ.com) before November 30^th 2005.

It will be enough for the participants in activators category to send a list with the activations made with the data, used call sign and MIA reference.
